  3. Scandi 3 Snowflakes Red - Makower
  4. Le Creme Swiss Dots Red - Riley Blake
  5. Essentials Sparkles Passion - Wilmington
  6. Scandi 3 Snowfakes Cream - Makower
  7. Stonehenge Celebration Red Stars - Northcott
  8. Scandi 3 Mini Star - Makower

This bundle just makes me happy! I love the red and cream combo! It is so classic and is seriously one of my favorite color combinations! I thought it would be fun to share a whole new pattern with you guys and so I came up with this fun table topper!

It really is very simple to put together and consists of a simple half square triangle block and then just a few borders! I love the block in the center it kind of reminded me of a snowflake and that's why I picked it for this pattern!

Let's get started:
Supplies:
Homespun Holidays fat quarter bundle

Cutting:

For center block:
8 - 5" x 5" red squares (A)
8 - 5" x 5" cream squares (B)

For inner red border:
2 - 1.25" x 16" strips
2 - 1.25" x 18" strips

For cream snowflake border:
2 - 3" x 18" strips

For red reindeer border:
2 - 6.25" x 18" strips

Block Assembly:

Make 16 half square triangles.

Layout your half square triangles as shown below:

Sew half square triangles into rows of 4.  Press, then sew your rows together and press. Block should measure 16" x 16"

Now add your red 1.5" border.  First sew the left and right border (1.25" x 16") on and press.  Then add your top and bottom border (1.25" x 18) and press.

Now sew on your cream snowflake border (3" x 18").  For this you will only do a left and right border.

Sew on your red reindeer border (6.25" x 18").  You will only do the left and right border for this as well.

Now you are ready to baste, quilt and bind! I used the red star print for my binding!

Now that we shared our fabric for the week, we want to see yours!
Here is your chance to link up anything to do with fabric! You can link up finished quilts, a work in progress, a new fabric you just bought, a project made with fabric, or maybe you just want to show off some of your stash.  Anything goes--as long as it has to do with fabric!
